FlowCast® is a casting epoxy resin that looks like liquid glass. When the two parts are combined, it hardens to a crystal clear, durable finish to a maximum thickness of 38 mm. Use FlowCast® epoxy by itself for a crystal clear finish or add our pigments to create custom colours and effects.
FlowCast® can be worked using the same tools you already have for woodworking such as a lathe, table saw, or belt sander, leaving you thousands of possibilities to create beautiful projects.
FlowCast® has been formulated to have low viscosity, low exothermic heat buildup and significant bio-based carbon content.
With the ability to cast from ½” to 1½” thick pours, FlowCast® is perfect for river tables, ocean tables, and any other deep pour or large casting application.
FlowCast® cures to a highly desired water-clear appearance. It can also be combined with Liquid and Metallic Color Pigments, and Polyester Color Glitters to create custom hues, tints, shades, and effects.
FlowCast® has excellent air release and a low exothermic heat buildup. These properties help the trapped air to rise to the surface, easing air release. The result is a water-clear casting that resists warping and cracking.

Tips When Using FlowCast®
How To Use FlowCast®
In a clean, dry container; combine (by volume) 2 parts resin with 1 part hardener, and mix thoroughly for 4-5 minutes. Then add desired pigments, continuing to mix until the epoxy is completely colored. Mix for an additional 2-3 minutes after adding pigment. After mixing, pour the epoxy into your mold. See our Knowledge Base for more detailed tutorials.
Repouring Between Layers
Additional pours should be done when the previous layer is still tacky. This is typically 20-44 hours after pouring the previous layer (see FlowCast® TDS for full details). Otherwise, you will need to wait for the resin to reach sufficient hardness (72 hours), then scuff the surface with 220 grit sandpaper.
